Cookie Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026
This policy explains how PrintaPos uses cookies and similar browser technologies. “Similar technologies” include local storage, which lets a website save information in your browser without using a traditional cookie.
1. What we use
PrintaPos uses browser storage needed for language preferences, account sessions, and the selected restaurant. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to measure site traffic — you can accept or decline analytics cookies in the cookie banner, and they load only if you accept. We do not use advertising or personalisation cookies.
| Name or provider | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
pp_lang | Local storage | Remembers the language you selected. | Until removed |
pp_token | Local storage | Keeps you signed in to the PrintaPos cabinet. | Until sign-out, expiry, or removal |
pp_email | Local storage | Supports the signed-in account experience. | Until sign-out or removal |
pp_rest | Local storage | Remembers the restaurant selected in the cabinet. | Until changed, sign-out, or removal |
cc_cookie | First-party cookie | Remembers your cookie-consent choice so the banner is not shown again. | 6 months |
| Google reCAPTCHA | Third-party cookies and storage | Detects and prevents abusive signup and contact-form submissions when reCAPTCHA is enabled. | Set by Google according to its policies |
Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) | Analytics cookies (optional, consent-based) | Measures site traffic and usage to help us improve the site. Loaded only if you accept analytics cookies in the banner. | Up to 2 years (set by Google) |
2. Google reCAPTCHA
Signup and contact forms may load Google reCAPTCHA. Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and interaction signals, and may use cookies or storage under the Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms.
3. Why consent is not requested for essential storage
Storage that is strictly necessary to sign you in, remember your requested language, protect forms, or provide a feature you asked for may not require consent under applicable cookie rules. Optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics) do require consent — we ask for it in the cookie banner and load them only if you accept. If PrintaPos later introduces advertising or personalisation cookies, we will update this policy and provide a consent choice where required.
4. How to control storage
You can delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in, language persistence, restaurant selection, or protected forms from working correctly. Signing out removes the PrintaPos account token, account email, and selected restaurant from local storage.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or providers change. The current version and update date will always appear on this page.
6. Contact
Questions about cookies or browser storage can be sent through the contact form.
